This drawing was an assignment for my screen printing class. It is the original drawing that I created to reproduce. It was intended to be reproduced, but I ended up dropping the class because I don't believe in reproduction. I prefer one-of-a-kind. This is the only one I made and I used colored pencil and ink on heavyweight printmaking paper. The prompt for the drawing was to create something that represents your character. I am a Capricorn. I am like a goat climbing up the mountain, very ambitious. I am always full of ideas, and the head of the goat is in the shape of a lightbulb. I am loving and kind, so I drew a heart for the nose of the goat. Usually when goats are depicted, they are associated with the devil. I wanted to draw my goat associated with the angel instead, hence the halo. Also, I colored the halo red because I didn't want to be too angelic. I'm a little devilish from time to time. This drawing measures 11" x14". Not framed.
