One-of-a-kind. Hand beaded. This piece is part of a collection of 5 shadowboxes entitled "The Awakening," that tells the story of one who suffers from addiction and is trying to find enlightenment. This piece is the middle phase of the journey, entitled, "A Place Between Heaven and Hell." The rain represents the sadness you feel before you begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Before you can experience happiness and freedom, you must go through a crisis and experience torment, symbolized by the lightning bolt, then followed by sunshine.
